PERISTYLE OF DIOCLETIANS PALACE
A monumental court, called the Perystle, formed the northern access to the imperial apartments. It also gave access to Diocletian’s mausoleum on the east (now Cathedral of St. Domnius), and to three temples on the west.
CHURCH OF SAINT MARTIN

FOOTBALL STADIUM POLJUD
This impressive seashell-like roof structure, spanning 215 meters, has been copied by a large number of world stadiums in the years that followed. The stadium was designed by Croatian architect Boris Magaš. The venue was built to host the 1979 Mediterranean Games.

Enjoy walking or chillin at most famous promenade in the city, called Riva. If you want to find somebody that will definitly be the right place. It stands in front of Diocletian’s Palace, once the home of the Roman emperor.
OLD CEMETERY SUSTIPAN IN SPLIT
In the early 19 century, there was the new cemetery built on the Sustipan peninsula which closes the city harbour from the west. The archeological excavations have discovered the Roman stone coffins – sarcophagi and the remains of the Early Christian three-naved basilica. This is wonderful place for waching the sunset and relax, usually visited by people in love.
FRUIT AND VEGETABLES MARKET
Picturesque place where you can meet local people and make a favourably purchase. This is the real heart of the city of Split.
CITY OF TROGIR (UNESCO HERITAGE)
Since 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. You can easly reach the city from Villa Levanta (18 km away).
CITY OF OMIŠ
City of Omiš (25 km from Villa Levanta toward south) was well known in the past by the Corsairs of Omiš whose Sagittas (ships), brought fame to them because they were built for attack and fast retrieval into the mouth of the Cetina River, protecting the town from foreign invaders. There is a fortress to climb and beautiful sand beach in the city. On Cetina river you can also try rafting adventure (more info on page adventures).
FORTRESS OF KLIS
Klis is a village located around a mountain fortress bearing the same name. It has had a major strategic value throughout history, because any inland force passing through Klis would have been able to easily reach the entire region of Split and Kaštela. From the fortress you can enjoy the view over the Split area and the islands.
Split is the first city on the Croatian coast that had a public aquarium. Many citizens of Split still remember how they watched the underwater world through a glass basin at the Institute on the cape Marjan. Aquarium Split is the largest marine aquarium in Croatia and offers visitors a unique experience of enjoying the beautiful underwater world.
Croatia is full of beautiful islands. The nearest from Split and Solin are Brač and Hvar.
There are a lot of activities available: game parks for kids, excursions for the islands, jogging/cycling, kayak along the coast, rafting, zip lines in the woods, freeclimbing, go karting, paintball… And three shopping centers full of shops, game rooms and cinemas.
